So far Anchorman: The Legend Continues has been marketed via a lone teaser trailer, a slew of Dodge Durango ads, a new Ben & Jerry’s ice cream flavor called “Scotchy Scotch Scotch” and I have seen one TV spot. Now Paramount is getting back into the business of theatrical trailers and dropped two new ones for the upcoming comedy.
With the 70’s behind him, San Diego’s top rated newsman, Ron Burgundy (Will Ferrell), returns to the news desk along with his co-anchor and wife, Veronica Corningstone (Christina Applegate), weather man Brick Tamland (Steve Carell), man on the street Brian Fantana (Paul Rudd) and sports guy Champ Kind (David Koechner) – all of whom won’t make it easy to stay classy… while taking the country’s first 24-hour news channel by storm.
