First Poster for Wes Anderson’s ‘Grand Budapest Hotel’

There was some talk of Wes Anderson‘s The Grand Budapest Hotel hitting theaters at the end of this year considering Fox Searchlight’s Oscar slate is currently looking like 12 Years a Slave with some slight rumblings for Enough Said, though the latter is a dark horse at best. However, this first poster for the film (via IMDb) clearly states we’re looking at t 2014 release, so, that’s that.

Along with the poster premiere we also learn we’ll get a first look at Anderson’s follow-up to his Oscar-nominated Moonrise Kingdom this Thursday, October 17.

An official synopsis for the film has not been released, but the film centers on the legendary concierge of the titular European hotel and the young employee that becomes his trusted protégé. The story involves the theft and recovery of a priceless Renaissance painting, the battle for an enormous family fortune and the slow and then sudden upheavals that transformed Europe during the first half of the 20th century. As for the cast, sit back, this may take a little while… The names include Ralph Fiennes, Edward Norton, Owen Wilson, Tilda Swinton, Jude Law, Bill Murray, Adrien Brody, Harvey Keitel, Jason Schwartzmann, Willem Dafoe, Jeff Goldblum, Saoirse Ronan, Tom Wilkinson, Mathieu Amalric, F. Murray Abraham and Bob Balaban.

Check out the poster below and be back this Thursday for the trailer premiere.
