Diablo Cody‘s directorial debut Paradise (previously known as Lamb of God) has had an interesting last week as a few pictures premiered announcing Image Entertainment had picked it up for distribution and that it would hit theaters on October 18 and then the first (terrible) poster arrived online. We have since learned that before it arrives in theaters in October it will land on DirecTV on August 8 and now the first trailer has arrived.
Julianne Hough stars as Lamb, a deeply religious woman who suffers severe burns in a plane crash and a subsequent spiritual crisis that sends her to hedonistic Las Vegas. On her journey, she meets unlikely companions (Russell Brand and Octavia Spencer) who inadvertently help her find her true self. Nick Offerman and Holly Hunter co-star.
