Warner Bros. has released the first The Lego Movie trailer, a CG-animated feature directed by 21 Jump Streeters Phil Lord and Christopher Miller with a voice cast comprised of Chris Pratt, Will Ferrell, Elizabeth Banks, Liam Neeson, Will Arnett, Nick Offerman, Alison Brie and Morgan Freeman.
Here’s the plot:
The Lego Movie follows Emmet (voiced by Chris Pratt), an ordinary, rules-following, perfectly average LEGO mini-figure who is mistakenly identified as the most extraordinary person and the key to saving the world. He is drafted into a fellowship of strangers on an epic quest to stop an evil tyrant, a journey for which Emmet is hopelessly and hilariously under-prepared.
The Lego Movie hits theaters on February 7, 2014. I’ve added the trailer and first poster below.
