Joss Whedon‘s Much Ado About Nothing will serve as the opening night film at the Seattle Film Festival and I’m actually planning on seeing it tomorrow as part of the press launch for the fest. Shot in black-and-white, largely in Whedon’s home, the film played the Toronto Film Festival last year to plenty of acclaim and will hit theaters on June 7.
Whedon and stars including Amy Acker, Alexis Denisof, Clark Gregg and Nathan Fillion turn Shakespeare’s classic comedy on its head and, at this point, I’m slightly interested to see how it turns out.
Check out a new international trailer for the film below along with the official poster.
