Universal Pictures is finally got things in gear when it comes to their comic book adaptation R.I.P.D. as the first trailer has just dropped following a poster debut yesterday and an MPAA rating earlier today.
The film is based on the Peter Lenkov comic, the story centers on Nick Cruz (Ryan Reynolds), a recently slain cop who joins a team of undead police officers working for the Rest in Peace Department and tries to find the man who murdered him. Jeff Bridges, Kevin Bacon and Mary-Louise Parker are among the co-stars with Red helmer Robert Schwentke directing for a July 19 release.
