Screen Gems is getting a 364-day jump start on Valentine’s Day 2014 as they’ve released a lengthy red band trailer for About Last Night, a remake of Ed Zwick’s 1986 comedy of the same name, both of which used David Mamet’s 1974 play Sexual Perversity in Chicago as source material.
The studio describes it as a modern reimagining of the classic romantic comedy, this contemporary version closely follows new love for two couples as they journey from the bar to the bedroom and are eventually put to the test in the real world.
Hot Tub Time Machine helmer Steve Pink is directing with a cast that includes Kevin Hart, Michael Ealy, Regina Hall, Joy Bryant, Christopher McDonald and Paula Patton.
Like I said, it is set to hit theaters on February 14, 2014. Check out the red band trailer below.
