In 2013 the White House will be under attack not once, but twice as Roland Emmerich brings us White House Down (6/8) and Antoine Fuqua delivers Olympus Has Fallen, the latter of which is the first to the table with a trailer and poster.
Olympus Has Fallen features Gerard Butler, Aaron Eckhart, Morgan Freeman, Angela Bassett, Dylan McDermott, Ashley Judd, Melissa Leo and Rick Yune in a story in which the White House (Secret Service Code: “Olympus”) is captured by a terrorist and the President (Eckhart) is kidnapped. Former Presidential guard Mike Banning (Butler) finds himself trapped within the building. As our national security team scrambles to respond, they are forced to rely on Banning’s inside knowledge to help retake the White House, save the President, and avert an even bigger disaster.
