Skyfall is getting rave reviews as it will hit UK theaters next Friday and US theaters on November 9 and to make sure the anticipation level stays high Sony and MGM have released a new two-minute trailer for the film along with a new IMAX poster (via Coming Soon).
After what was a general disappointment in Quantum of Solace (though I personally like it), the James Bond franchise was in need of yet another jolt of adrenaline as the good will earned after Casino Royale quickly died off. In response an impressive team of filmmakers came together for the latest adventure including director Sam Mendes, cinematography Roger Deakins, two-time Oscar-nominated editor Stuart Baird and composer Thomas Newman. This, along with Daniel Craig, Javier Bardem, Judi Dench, Ralph Fiennes, Ben Whishaw and Naomie Harris marks a film worth seeing based on talent alone. Now that reviews are solid it’s nearly impossible to miss.
In Skyfall, Bond’s loyalty to M is tested as her past comes back to haunt her. As MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost. Check out the new trailer and poster directly below.
