Watch the First Trailer for ‘Lincoln’ Starring Daniel Day-Lewis

With massive build-up, DreamWorks has finally lifted the veil and we have the first trailer for Steven Spielberg‘s Lincoln starring Daniel Day-Lewis as the 16th President of the United States.

Lincoln will be released in limited theaters on November 9 followed by a wide release a week later. The film is described as a revealing drama that focuses on the 16th President’s tumultuous final months in office. In a nation divided by war and the strong winds of change, Lincoln pursues a course of action designed to end the war, unite the country and abolish slavery. With the moral courage and fierce determination to succeed, his choices during this critical moment will change the fate of generations to come.

As for the cast, along with Day-Lewis the film stars a massive ensemble including Sally Field, Tommy Lee Jones, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Hal Holbrook, James Spader, John Hawkes, Tim Blake Nelson, Bruce McGill, Joseph Cross, Gloria Reuben, David Warshofsky, David Strathairn, Walt Goggins, Lee Pace, Jackie Earle Haley and David Oyelowo.
