I didn’t watch the trailer, primarily because Parental Guidance starring Billy Crystal and Bette Midler sounds like a bit of a nightmare, but wow look at this awful poster in which Crystal’s hands and the bodies of two young boys are Photoshopped into the image in the weirdest looking way.
Just look at the size of Crystal’s hands and the rigid nature of the kids. It’s like rigamortis has set in and they were frozen in those horrible poses. And just how strong is Billy?
In the film Billy and Bette team up as parents called in to aid their daughter (Marisa Tomei) to help care for their three grandkids. Of course, parenting style clash and things get wacky to the point Billy grabs two of the kids by their ankles and stars playing “Whack-a-Mole!” in the backyard with their soon-to-be lifeless bodies.
The film is set to hit theaters on December 25. Check out the trailer and poster below.
