I didn’t watch the international trailer for Jack Reacher when it debuted over the weekend, but I did skim through it and doing a brief once over of this just-released domestic trailer it looks relatively similar but I believe I noticed a few new pieces of material.
Jack Reacher is based on the novel “One Shot” by Lee Child and stars Tom Cruise as the titular character, a former military policeman-turned-drifter who investigates a case in which a lone sniper murders five victims before being captured. Reacher discovers it’s more than a simple open-and-shut case.
Along with Cruise the film co-stars Rosamund Pike, Richard Jenkins, David Oyelowo, Robert Duvall, Jai Courtney and Werner Herzog. Jack Reacher is set to hit theaters on December 21.
