Watch Now: The ‘Django Unchained’ Trailer has Arrived

It’s here! The Django Unchained trailer has arrived giving you your first full look at the new Quentin Tarantino feature set to hit theaters on December 25.

Starring Jamie Foxx in the title role, the film follows Django as he teams with the German-born bounty hunter Dr. King Schultz (Christoph Waltz) to hunt down a trio of lowlifes eventually bringing them on a mission to rescue Django’s wife, Broomhilda (Kerry Washington), from the clutches of Calvin Candie (Leonardo DiCaprio), an evil plantation owner.

Along with the names mentioned above, the film co-stars Samuel L. Jackson, Gerald McRaney, Dennis Christopher, M.C. Gainey, Don Johnson, Tom Savini, Anthony LaPaglia, RZA, Misty Upham, James Remar, Rex Linn, James Russo and Tom Wopat

After seeing the footage I saw at Cannes (read about that here) I’ve seen enough, so I didn’t watch this trailer, though I did listen to the beginning and noticed they kept Johnny Cash’s “Ain’t No Grave (Gonna Hold This Body Down)” for the trailer. Good choice.

You can watch the trailer in full directly below and you’ll also be able to see it in theaters this weekend in front of Prometheus.

I’ve also added 19 screen captures from the trailer to my gallery for the film which you can check out right here once you’re done watching the trailer.
