I’m seeing The Five-Year Engagement tomorrow so I didn’t watch this new red band trailer because I don’t want to spoil any of the film’s jokes, but from what I’ve read from those that have seen it, it contains several scenes that aren’t even in the movie. While that means these are most likely alternate takes and/or deleted scenes, I still don’t really want to get much of a feel for things and would rather see it all on the big screen. Especially with just over a day before I see it.
The Five-Year Engagement hit theaters this Friday (April 27) and stars Emily Blunt and Jason Segel as an engaged couple who keeps getting tripped up on the long walk down the aisle. The film was written by Muppets partners Segel and Nicholas Stoller with Stoller directing.
Along with Blunt and Segel the film co-stars Alison Brie, Chris Pratt, Rhys Ifans, Jacki Weaver, Lauren Ambrose, Lauren Weedman, David Paymer, Mindy Kaling, Chris Parnell, Jim Piddock and Dakota Johnson. Check the red band out directly below.
