The first trailer for The Cabin in the Woods has debuted following last week’s Rubik’s Cube poster premiere and while I didn’t watch it, I did skim through looking for a few screen captures and it appears there is some kind of hive design to the graphics. Is there some kind of giant insect infestation in this cabin or what’s up?
The film stars Chris Hemsworth (Thor) as a young professional who visits a quaint cabin in the woods with a group of friends and ends up scratching the surface of something so massive and horrific that they can only begin to fathom it as time quickly runs out. Along with Hemsworth, Richard Jenkins, Bradley Whitford, Fran Kranz, Kristen Connolly, Anna Hutchison, Jesse Williams and Brian White co-star with Cloverfield scripter Drew Goddard directing from a script he co-wrote with Joss Whedon (The Avengers).
