It was revealed yesterday the first trailer for the 3D re-release of Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace would be showing in front of Summit’s The Three Musketeers beginning next Friday, October 21 and today the first poster for said re-release has arrived courtesy of Bleeding Cool.
The poster features what I would say is probably the most recognizable and appreciated character from all three of the prequel films, Darth Maul, front and center with not a Jar Jar to be seen. No surprise there.
The 3D re-release of The Phantom Menace is set to hit theaters on February 10, 2012 in what looks like not only 3D, but even 2D in some places.
I’m curious… will you be showing up to see this? Will it depend on reviews and word of mouth?
