Fox has debuted the This Means War trailer, the spy vs. spy feature that pits Chris Pine (Star Trek) opposite Tom Hardy (The Dark Knight Rises) in some sort of Mr. and Mr. and Mrs. Smith knockoff action romance directed by McG (Terminator Salvation).
The object of the two spies’ affection is Reese Witherspoon, whom I can only assume is playing them to some sort of advantage, but I am only saying this based on knowing the tiniest of details, having not watched the trailer and only reading the short synopsis I’ve included below. You, however, can give the trailer a watch and tell me if I’m right.
Otherwise, just know the film is set to hit theaters on February 17, 2012 and you can watch the trailer in high definition at Apple if you feel the need.
