I personally know the name of only one composer whose primary work is to create music for trailers. There is, of course, Two Steps from Hell whose music for the Star Trek trailer (“Freedom Fighters”) was quite impressive and has been for many years, but when it comes to a singular person the only name I know is Zack Hemsey and the only reason I know it is because of his song “Mind Heist“, which was used for the Inception‘s Trailer 3 and was also used as a musical theme for the movie.
Well, Soundworks Collection has put together another great little featurette, this time focused on Hemsey who’s also created trailer music for Robin Hood, The Town and the recently released Trust.
