I guess studios don’t think people get out of the house any longer as several new trailers have arrived over the weekend, but I haven’t had a chance until now to do anything other than simply add them to the database. Sorry, things to do during those few hours I have off each week.
However, I have a chance now before settling into some football so let’s get to it.
First off a new trailer for Clash of the Titans has arrived with plenty more story elements previewed plus a monstrous look at the Kraken at the very end. Watch that directly below and if you are interested hi-res versions of the three posters that debuted earlier this week are now available in our gallery right here.
Next is a second trailer for Breck Eisner’s The Crazies, which like Clash of the Titans is a remake. The film stars Timothy Olyphant, Radha Mitchell, Danielle Panabaker and Joe Anderson as four friends find themselves trapped in their hometown surrounded by… yup, you know…
Finally we have the trailer for Jacques Audiard’s prison drama A Prophet, winner of the Grand Prix at Cannes and recent recipient of the Louis Delluc Prize in Paris. The film focuses Malik El Djebena, a 19-year-old inmate who is cornered by the leader of the Corsican gang in prison. He is given a number of “missions” to carry out, toughening him up and gaining the gang leader’s confidence in the process. But Malik is brave and a fast learner, daring to secretly develop his own plans. A Prophet hits theaters on February 26, 2010.
