A24 has revealed the first trailer for Amy, a chronicle of tragic singer Amy Winehouse, which you can watch below.
Asif Kapadia, who made the Bafta-winning true-life racing story Senna, directs the documentary, which chronicles Winehouse’s rise to fame with chart-toppers like “Rehab” and “Valerie” before her untimely death at age 27 of alcohol poisoning.
Although there is no US release yet, Amy will open in the UK on July 3.
