CBS Films has just released both the final trailer and final poster for the upcoming high school comedy The DUFF. Check out the trailer in the player below and the poster in the gallery viewer at the bottom of this page.
Starring Mae Whitman (“Parenthood,” Tinker Bell and the Legend of the NeverBeast), Robbie Amell (“The Tomorrow People,” “The Flash”), Bella Thorne (Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day, “Shake it Up!”), Bianca Santos (Ouija, Happyland), Skyler Samuels (The Stepfather, “The Nine Lives of Chloe King”), Nick Eversman (Wild, The Depraved), Alison Janney (Tammy, The Way, Way Back), Romany Malco (Think Like a Man, The 40-Year Old Virgin) and Ken Keong (The Hangover trilogy, “Community”), the film follows Bianca (Whitman) is a content high school senior whose world is shattered when she learns the student body knows her as ‘The DUFF’ (Designated Ugly Fat Friend) to her prettier, more popular friends (Samuels and Santos). Now, despite the words of caution from her favorite teacher (Jeong), she puts aside the potential distraction of her crush, Toby (Eversman), and enlists Wesley (Amell), a slick but charming jock, to help reinvent herself. To save her senior year from turning into a total disaster, Bianca must find the confidence to overthrow the school’s ruthless label maker Madison (Thorne) and remind everyone that no matter what people look or act like, we are all someone’s DUFF.
The DUFF arrives in theaters February 20.
