After the surprise success of his low-budget comedy Frances Ha, writer/director Noah Baumbach is once again exploring the lives of New York twenty-somethings (with a mature twist) in the first trailer for While We’re Young, which you can check out below!
This marks the second teaming of the filmmaker with Ben Stiller after 2010’s Greenberg and also features Naomi Watts, Amanda Seyfried and Adam Driver, the latter of whom had a small part in Frances Ha. (Also keep your eyes peeled for a cameo from Joe Dante’s cult classic horror flick The Howling.)
Baumbach’s exploration of aging, ambition and success stars Stiller and Watts as a middle-aged couple whose career and marriage are overturned when a disarming young couple (Driver and Seyfried) enters their lives. The film also stars Charles Grodin, Maria Dizzia, Adam Horovitz and Ryan Serhant.
A24 will release While We’re Young on March 27, 2015.
