Rosario Trailer: Emeraude Toubia, David Dastmalchian Lead Horror Movie

The official Rosario trailer for Mucho Mas Media’s upcoming supernatural horror thriller has been released, featuring Shadowhunters star Emeraude Toubia and The Suicide Squad alum David Dastmalchian. The movie is scheduled to arrive in theaters on May 2, 2025.

What happens in the Rosario trailer?

The video features a young woman who suddenly gets disturbed by supernatural occurences following the death of her beloved grandmother. Because of this, she’s forced to uncover her family’s dark secrets in order to find a way to escape her curse. Besides Toubia and Dastmalchian, the cast also includes Paul Ben-Victor, José Zúñiga, Diana Lein, Emilia Faucher, and Guillermo Garcia.

“Wall Street stockbroker, Rosario Fuentes, returns to her grandmother’s apartment after her sudden death. While sorting through her Grandmother’s belongings, Rosario uncovers a horrifying secret—a hidden chamber filled with occult artifacts tied to dark generational rituals,” reads the official synopsis. “As supernatural occurrences plague her, Rosario must confront her family’s buried secrets and face the truth about the sacrifices and choices they made.”

Rosario is directed by Felipe Vargas from a screenplay written by Alan Trezza. It currently has a total runtime of 88 minutes. The R-rated film is executive produced by Toubia, Bruce Barshop, Simon Beltran Echeverri, Vincent Cordero, Arianne Fraser, Delphine Perrier, Juan Pablo Solano, Caleb Ward, and Simon Wise, with Phillip Braun, Javier Chapa, and Jon Silk producing. The creative team also includes cinematographer Carmen Cabana and editor Claudia Castello.
