Decal Releasing has shared the official Fog of War trailer for its upcoming thriller drama, which take place during World War II. The John Cusack-led movie will be available to rent or own on digital platforms starting on April 4.

What happens in the Fog of War trailer?
The video introduces an injured American pilot, who gets assigned to an important secret mission. The mission requires him to lie to his fiancée, who is being suspected as a Nazi spy after the military has received an unusual intel about her. Besides Cusack, the film also stars Jake Abel, Brianna Hildebrand, Géza Röhrig, Mira Sorvino, David B. Meadows, Sal Rendino, David Gere, Julia Ebner, Chris Maher, and Greg Nutcher.
Fog of War is directed by Michael Day from a screenplay written by Luke Langsdale. The film is produced by Day, Jordan Yale Levine, Jordan Beckerman, and Scott Levenson. The creative team also included cinematographer Dean Fisher and editor Kevin Kauffman, with production designer Jourdan Henderson.
“With World War II raging around them, Gene, an injured American pilot, and his fiancée Penny, an OSS agent, find themselves stranded on a remote estate,” reads the official synopsis. “As the Allies plan the D-Day Invasion, the couple become aware of a Nazi spy hiding amongst them with stolen documents bound for Germany. Unsure of who to trust, and facing danger around every corner, they must uncover the spy’s identity as the outcome of the war hangs in the balance.”
