Focus Features has announced the Pride & Prejudice theatrical rerelease date for the upcoming special screening of iconic romantic drama, based on Jane Austen‘s classic 1813 novel of the same name. Since making its debut in 2005, the movie has garnered a Certified Fresh rating of 87% on Rotten Tomatoes, based on 179 reviews.
“The film brings a modern sensibility to one of the greatest love stories of all time. When Elizabeth Bennet meets the handsome Mr. Darcy, she believes he is the last man on earth she could ever marry,” reads the official synopsis. “But as their lives become intertwined, she finds herself captivated by the very person she swore to loathe for all eternity. It is a classic tale of love and misunderstanding that sparkles with romance, wit, and emotional force.”
