What happens in the Ballerina video?

The video offers fans with a closer look at De Armas’ action-packed sequences, while also teasing her character’s interactions with franchise star Keanu Reeves‘ John Wick. It features Wick trying to convince Eve Macarro to back out of the hitman life before it’s too late.

Ballerina is directed by Len Wiseman from a screenplay written by Shay Hatten. The cast also includes Sharon Duncan-Brewster, Gabriel Byrne, Catalina Sandino Moreno, and Norman Reedus, with returning John Wick stars Ian McShane, Anjelica Huston, and the late Lance Reddick in his last appearance as Charon. The spin-off is produced by Basil Iwanyk, Erica Lee, Keanu Reeves, and Chad Stahelski.

The project was first announced in 2019 following the theatrical debut of John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum, which gave us our first look at the Ballerina assassins who are trained by the Ruska Roma syndicate led by Anjelica Huston’s character. The Ruska Roma syndicate is also best known as the organization responsible for training John Wick to become the unbeatable killing machine he’s known today.
