Netflix has released the official The Life List trailer for its forthcoming romantic comedy-drama movie led by Sofia Carson (Purple Hearts). The film is scheduled to start streaming on March 28, 2025.

“When Alex Rose’s (Carson) mother sends her on a quest to complete her childhood bucket list, it takes her on a journey that will make you both laugh and cry as she uncovers family secrets, finds romance, and discovers herself along the way,” reads the synopsis.

What happens in The Life List trailer?

The video features Carson as a young woman who goes on a journey of self-discovery to grant her late mother’s wishes while also dealing with her grief. Along the way, she’ll get to uncover family secrets and meet new people who will help her fulfill her mother’s requests. In addition to Carson, the cast includes Kyle Allen as Brad, José Zúñiga as Samuel, Sebastian de Souza as Garrett, Connie Britton as Elizabeth, Jordi Mollà as Johnny, Dario Ladani Sanchez as Lucas, Federico Rodriguez as Julian, Rachel Zeiger-Haag as Catherine, and more.

The film is written and directed by Adam Brooks, who is no stranger to the romantic comedy genre after previously directing 2008’s Ryan Reynolds-led movie Definitely, Maybe. It is based on Lori Nelson Spielman’s 2013 novel of the same name. The film is produced by Liza Chasin for 3dot Productions, with Hutch Parker, Brooks, Margaret Chernin, and Kerry Orent set as executive producers.
