What happens in the Borderline trailer?
The video introduces Weaving as a popstar who becomes a victim of home invasion, after an obsessive fan decides to stage a wedding with her. Besides Weaving and Nicholson, the film also stars Eric Dane (Grey’s Anatomy, Euphoria), Alba Baptista (Warrior Nun), and Jimmie Fails (The Last Black Man in San Francisco).
Borderline is written and directed by Cocaine Bear scribe Jimmy Warden in his feature directorial debut. The film is produced by Tom Ackerley, Josey McNamara, Hadeel Reda, and Brian Duffield. Executive producers are Colleen Camp Productivity Media’s William G. Santor, Andrew Chang-Sang, John Hills, Radiant’s Mimi Steinbauer, and Brightlight Pictures’ Shawn Williamson, and Jameson Parker. It is a production by LuckyChap.
“It was an absolute pleasure to make this movie with such an extraordinary team of actors, crew, and producers,” Warden said in a statement. “Across the board—from the executives at Magnet, PMI, and Radiant to the background actors who agreed to stay late as we doused an 11-year-old in fake blood—I’m indebted to them all. The film is wild and I can’t wait for the world to see it.”
