ComingSoon is debuting an exclusive A Sloth Story trailer for Blue Fox Entertainment’s newest animated family adventure featuring the voice of Saturday Night Live vet Leslie Jones. The movie is scheduled to debut in theaters on March 14, 2025.
“After a terrifying storm destroys their home, a speedy sloth named Laura and her kooky family move to the big city in their rusted old food truck hoping to make their business a success,” reads the film’s official synopsis.

What happens in the A Sloth Story trailer?
The video introduces a young sloth girl, who uses her unusual speed to join her new neighborhood’s baseball team. However, this gets in the way of her role in her family’s business, which leads her to place her trust in an enemy planning to steal her family’s secret recipes. Besides Jones, the voice cast also includes Teo Vergara as Laura, Remy Hii as Platy, Olivia Vásquez as Gabriella, Ben Gorroño as Luis, Dan Brumm as Chief Furbank, Facundo Hache Herrera as Mani, Matteo Romaniuk as Arlo, Thalia Colettis, and Andrew Cook as Coach Jerry.
A Sloth Story is directed by Tania Vincent and Ricard Cussó from a screenplay written by Vincent, Ryan Greaves, and Erica Harrison. The animated movie is executive produced by Julia Adams, Solveig Langeland, and Steven Matusko, with Nadine Bates, Ryan Greaves, Kristen Souvlis, and Brett Thornquest serving as producers. It is a production by Like A Photon Creative.
