What happens in the trailer for A Working Man?

The trailer for A Working Man sees Statham playing a construction worker with a highly impressive set of combat skills. He gets thrown into a world of danger when his boss’ daughter is kidnapped by human traffickers and Statham’s character attempts to save her. David Harbour also appears in the trailer as Statham’s character’s “blind war buddy that doesn’t know he’s blind.”

In addition to Statham and Harbour, A Working Man stars Jason Flemyng, Merab Ninidze, Maximilian Osinski, Cokey Falkow, Michael Peña, Noemi Gonzalez, Arianna Rivas, Emmett J. Scanlan, and Eve Mauro.

“Levon Cade left behind a decorated military career in the black ops to live a simple life working construction,” the synopsis reads. “But when his boss’s daughter, who is like family to him, is taken by human traffickers, his search to bring her home uncovers a world of corruption far greater than he ever could have imagined.”

The screenplay for A Working Man was co-written by Ayer and Sylvester Stallone. The movie is based on a 2014 novel titled Levon’s Trade by Chuck Dixon.

Statham, Ayer, and Stallone produce the film alongside Chris Long, John Friedberg, Bill Block, and Kevin King Templeton. Teddy Schwarzman, Michael Heimler, Mike Shanks, Jill Silfen, Volodymyr Artemenko, Yevgen Stupka, Alexis Garcia, Rachael Cole, and Thomas Zadra serve as executive producers.

A Working Man will be released in United States theaters on March 28, 2025, from Amazon MGM Studios.
