ComingSoon is excited to debut the exclusive Dirty Angels clip and still from Lionsgate’s upcoming R-rated action thriller starring Golden Globe nominee Eva Green and Oscar nominee Maria Bakalova. The movie is scheduled to make its debut on December 13 in select theaters and on digital platforms.
“When a group of schoolgirls is taken hostage in Afghanistan, an American soldier named Jake joins a unit of all-women commandos to liberate them,” reads the official synopsis. “The plan: Gain the trust of the terrorists by posing as members of a relief organization. But double-crosses, tragedies, and the ghosts of Jake’s past complicate the rescue in this do-or-die mission.”

What happens in the Dirty Angels clip?
The video features Green as the leader of an all-female soldiers unit. She must make tough decisions for the sake of their mission, even if not everyone on her team agrees with it. Meanwhile, the exclusive still above shows Maria Bakalova’s character, “The Bomb.” The cast also includes Ruby Rose, Reza Brojerdi, Rona-Lee Shimon, Jojo T. Gibbs, Aziz Çapkurt, Hadi Khanjanpour, Christopher Backus, Laëtitia Eïdo, Emily Bruni, Edmund Kingsley, and more.
Dirty Angels is directed by Martin Campbell, who co-wrote the screenplay with Alissa Sullivan Haggis, Jonas McCord, and Gene Quintano. This marks the latest collaboration between Green and Campbell, after previously working on 2006’s James Bond movie Casino Royale. It is produced by Moshe Diamant, Yariv Lerner, and Robert Van Norden, with Boaz Davidson, Jeffrey Greenstein, Avi Lerner, Darina Pavlova, Lonnie Ramati, Trevor Short, and Jonathan Yunger serving as executive producers.
