Henry Danger: The Movie Teaser Trailer Shows Return of Nickelodeon Show

Kid Danger gets in on the action in the newly released teaser trailer for Henry Danger: The Movie, a feature-length follow-up to Nickelodeon’s hit live-action comedy series. 

The original Henry Danger television series, which debuted on Nickelodeon in 2014, followed the adventures of teenage boy Henry Hart, who landed a job as sidekick to superhero Captain Man. In addition to fighting crime in Swellview, one of Henry’s jobs includes keeping his job a secret to everyone including his friends and family.  

Jace Norman reprises his Henry Hart/Kid Danger role for the follow-up movie. Other returning cast members include Ella Anderson as Piper Hart, Michael D. Cohen as Schwoz. and Frankie Grande as Frankini, with newcomer Glee Dango joining the cast as Missy Martin. 

What happens in the Henry Danger: The Movie teaser trailer?

The teaser trailer opens with Kid Danger deciding to face his destiny as a superhero. Henry Danger: The Movie will premiere on Nickelodeon on Friday, January 17 at 7 p.m. ET/PT and will be released simultaneously on Paramount+. It is directed by Joe Menendez and written by Chris Nowak and Jake Farrow.

The synopsis reads: “In Henry Danger The Movie, Henry Danger (Jace Norman) meets a superfan—eager to fight crime with Kid Danger—who comes into possession of a device that can open up alternate realities. Facing a wild ride, Henry will need his best friend Jasper (Sean Ryan Fox) and his new superfan sidekick to find his way out or be stuck in another dimension forever.”

Norman also serves as one of the film’s executive producers alongside the film’s writers Nowak and Farrow. 

Henry Danger: The Movie serves as Nickelodeon’s latest feature-length follow-up to its hit shows, following 2023’s Zoey 102 and this year’s The Thundermans Return.
