“Living an idyllic life she never felt entitled to, Grace is suddenly faced with a life-or-death decision that will alter her destiny and that of her young protege, Miki Endo, who is unknowingly intertwined in her journey,” reads the synopsis. “Their paths converge in a twisting, thought-provoking adventure that spans from Japan to America, exploring how the clash of East and West can shape one’s life and future. Through Grace’s perspective, the story delves into how our perceptions can uniquely influence our actions, often in ways that are misunderstood.”

What happens in the Sarogeto trailer?
The Sarogeto trailer sees Yoshimatsu play a character named Grace Stanton, a woman whose life comes crashing down when she receives an unfortunate medical diagnosis. She then has to figure out how to navigate the situation and find inner peace while dealing with her family and her new assistant, Miki Endo.
Pink Opaque’s Ruby Park plays the role of Miki in Sarogeto, while The Bold and the Beautiful and All My Children’s Winsor Harmon also star in the film.
The screenplay was co-written by Santucci, who is making his solo feature film directorial debut with Sarogeto, and Timothy Michael Hayes (Netflix’s Mary). World-renowned cellist and Emmy-nominated composer Martin Tillman (Cries from Syria, War for the Planet of the Apes) created the soundtrack for the movie.
