ComingSoon is debuting an exclusive Smile 2 behind-the-scenes clip from the film’s digital release. The horror movie is out today digitally and will be released on 4K Ultra HD and DVD on January 21, 2025.
What happens in the Smile 2 clip?
The clip is from a behind-the-scenes extra from the movie and features an interview with stars Naomi Scott and Rosemarie DeWitt discussing a scene between the two.
The scene comes toward the end of the movie and sees the pair arguing, with Scott’s Skye Riley saying that DeWitt’s Elizabeth (her mother) doesn’t actually care about her and only cares about her career.

Smile 2 is written and directed by Parker Finn, who helmed Smile and Laura Hasn’t Slept. The cast of the sequel also Lukas Gage, Dylan Gelula, Raúl Castillo, and Miles Gutierrez-Riley.
“About to embark on a new world tour, global pop sensation Skye Riley begins experiencing increasingly terrifying and inexplicable events,” reads the synopsis. “Overwhelmed by the escalating horrors and the pressures of fame, Skye is forced to face her dark past to regain control of her life before it spirals out of control.”
The first Smile was released in United States theaters in September 2022. It was a huge hit for Paramount Pictures, bringing in approximately $217.4 million at the global box office off of an estimated $17 million budget. Along with Gallner, the film starred Sosie Bacon, Jessie T. Usher, Robin Weigert, Caitlin Stasey, Kal Penn, Rob Morgan, and Gillian Zinser. Smile is currently streaming on Prime Video.
