ComingSoon is excited to debut an exclusive The Binding trailer for the upcoming LGBTQ+ drama, which takes place in Israel. The movie is scheduled to make its debut on November 26, 2024, from Silk Road Entertainment.
“Binyamin (21), lives by himself in a small apartment in the center of Tel Aviv. He moved there after he came out of the closet and had to face opposition from his family, who live in a small settlement in the Israeli desert. Being away from them allowed him to detach himself someway from the trauma that accompanies his family’s lives following the death of his older brother in an accident, for which Binyamin feels responsible for,” says the official synopsis.
“His lifestyle, made of constant and violent one-night stands, will change after his relationship with the owner of the pub he works at will become closer. Avinoam (49), a nationalist religious man, is a charismatic person who uses his powerful words as a weapon. Under his care, Binyamin will find a safe space, up until an unexpected event will change his entire life.”

What happens in The Binding trailer?
The video features a young Israeli man who distances himself from his family after experiencing opposition from them due to his sexuality. During his time alone, he unexpectedly befriends an older religious man who will eventually change his life.
The Binding is directed by Eyal Kantor from a screenplay he co-wrote with Yaov Keren. The film stars Yoav Keren, Shimon Mimran, Tal Ben Elazar, Nitay Yoel, Meged Hayon Amit Elyahu, Ori Paniri, It is produced by Keren, Matanel Gotlib, and Kantor. It hails from Toni Films Production, with Offek Hasid also serving as the cinematographer.
The LGBTQ+ drama has a runtime of 111 minutes.
