Nutcrackers Trailer Previews Ben Stiller-Led Hulu Holiday Comedy

Hulu has released a new Nutcrackers trailer, previewing its upcoming holiday comedy movie starring Ben Stiller.

What happens in the Nutcrackers trailer?

The newest trailer follows the uptight and work-obsessed Mike (Ben Stiller), a man who is suddenly tasked with caring for his four orphaned nephews while a search for a permanent home for them is underway.

Nutcrackers is set to release on Hulu on November 29, 2024. Alongside Stiller, the movie also stars Linda Cardellini, Edi Patterson, Tim Heidecker, and Toby Huss, as well as real-life siblings Homer, Ulysses, Atlas, and Arlo Janson.

“Nutcrackers follows the work-obsessed Mike (Stiller), who must reluctantly travel to rural Ohio to look after his four rambunctious nephews after their parents die in a car accident,” the synopsis reads. “What begins as a three-day trip to find foster care turns into weeks of farm-life mayhem – and the realization that he doesn’t need to find them a home, they’ve found one for him.”

Leland Douglas wrote the screenplay for Nutcrackers. Rob Paris and Mike Witherill serve as producers with Rough House Pictures’ Nate Meyer.

Nutcrackers is directed by David Gordon Green, best known now for his work directing the trilogy of Halloween remakes for Blumhouse Productions. Green also directed 2023’s The Exorcist Believer, which was intended to usher in a new trilogy of Exorcist films, but is instead being rebooted by Mike Flanagan.
