Sony Pictures Entertainment has released the first official One of Them Days trailer, previewing the upcoming comedy movie starring Keke Palmer and SZA.
What happens in the One of Them Days trailer?
One of Them Days follows the story of roommates Dreux and Alyssa, who have a rough day after finding out that Alyssa’s boyfriend has stolen their rent money. The pair must then go on an adventure to secure the money while also trying to get out of the rough situation they are in. The movie is set to release on January 24, 2025, in theaters.

One of Them Days marks the film debut of music superstar SZA. Alongside Palmer and the artist, One of Them Days features an all-star ensemble cast including Katt Williams, Lil Rel Howery, Maude Apatow, Janelle James, Keyla Monterroso Mejia, Joshua Neal, Aziza Scott, and Patrick Cage.
The movie is directed by Lawrence Lamont from a screenplay written by Syreeta Singleton. The film is produced by Issa Rae, Deniese Davis, Sara Rastogi, James Lopez, and Poppy Hanks.
“Best friends and roommates Dreux (Palmer) and Alyssa (SZA) are about to have One of Them Days,” reads the film’s official synopsis. “When they discover Alyssa’s boyfriend has blown their rent money, the duo finds themselves going to extremes in a comical race against the clock to avoid eviction and keep their friendship intact.”
