ComingSoon is excited to debut an exclusive Gracie & Pedro: Pets to the Rescue video for the upcoming animated adventure comedy, which will arrive in theaters this Friday, October 18.
“Gracie and Pedro, two beloved pets who can’t stand each other, are thrown into an unexpected adventure after being separated from their family during a cross-country move,” reads the synopsis. “Stranded in an unfamiliar land, pampered show dog Gracie and street-smart alley cat Pedro must put aside their differences and rely on each other to find their way home. Along their journey, they meet colorful characters and face daunting obstacles, ultimately discovering their shared determination and love for their family.”

Who is in the Gracie & Pedro: Pets to the Rescue video?
The featurette provides a behind-the-scenes look at the star-studded voice cast, which includes Susan Sarandon (Thelma & Louise), Bill Nighy (Love Actually), Brooke Shields (The Blue Lagoon), Danny Trejo (Machete), Alicia Silverstone (Clueless), and Al Franken (Saturday Night Live). Additional cast includes Claire Alan, Cory Doran, Bianca Alongi, Mike Nadajewski, James Kee, Ron Pardo, and John Stocker.
Gracie & Pedro: Pets to the Rescue is directed by Kevin Donovan and Gottfried Roodt from a screenplay written by Jaisa C. Bishop, Bruce A. Taylor, and Kelly Peters. It is executive produced by Jeff Geoffray and Peter Wetherell, with Amy Taylor producing. The film hails from Second Chance Productions, which is partnering with non-profit organizations and animal shelters nationwide to raise awareness about pet welfare and rescue efforts.
