Vertical has shared the official Elevation trailer for the upcoming survival thriller, starring Marvel stars Anthony Mackie and Morena Baccarin. The film is scheduled to make its debut in theaters on November 8.

What happens in the Elevation trailer?
The video features Mackie as a father who’s determined to do everything to save his son’s life, even if it means going up against post-apocalyptic monsters. The trailer also highlights some of the film’s thrilling sequences.
Elevation is directed by George Nolfi from a screenplay written by John Glenn, Jacob Roman, and Kenny Ryan. The cast also includes Maddie Hasson, Danny Boyd Jr., Shauna Earp, and more. It is produced by Nolfi, Mackie, Brad Fuller, Joel Viertel, Jeremy Kipp Walker, Natalie Sellers, and Alex Black.
“The world has changed. The only habitable place left for humanity is in the high mountains, above 8000 feet. Go below 8000 feet, and waiting for you are the very creatures that killed 95% of the human population less than three years ago,” reads the synopsis. “But what happens if — to save the life of his young son — a father is forced to do just that: to venture below ‘The Line’ with two others, a scientist he despises, but who just might hold the key to defeating the monsters, and a young woman, determined to keep them both alive long enough to save the human race.”
