What happens in the new Presence teaser trailer?
Similar to the previous two teasers, the new trailer for Presence doesn’t give away much about the film’s plot. Rather, the camera zooms in on a woman lying in bed, while text on the screen says, “In this house she will feel love,” “In this house she will feel loss,” “In this house she will feel fear,” and “In this house she will feel a presence.”
The movie will revolve around a family moving into a new house, only to then discover that they may or may not be some sort of other entity already living there. Along with Liu and Fox, the film stars Chris Sullivan, Callina Liang, Eddy Maday, and West Mulholland.
The script for Presence was written by David Koepp. The movie premiered at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival this past January, where it received mostly positive reviews.
Soderbergh is known for making movies such as 1989’s Sex, Lies, and Videotape, 1998’s Out of Sight, 2000’s Erin Brockovich, 2000’s Traffic, 2001’s Ocean’s Eleven, 2002’s Solaris, 2004’s Ocean’s Twelve, 2007’s Ocean’s Thirteen, 2011’s Contagion, 2012’s Magic Mike, 2017’s Logan Lucky, 2018’s Unsane, 2021’s No Sudden Move, and 2022’s Kimi, among other titles.
