IFC Films and Shudder have shared the official Get Away trailer for its newest horror comedy about a family of four on vacation, who unknowingly end up becoming a serial killer’s next targets.
“A family’s vacation to a remote getaway takes an unexpected turn when they discover the island they’re on is inhabited by a serial killer,” reads the official logline.

When is the Get Away release date?
Get Away is scheduled to make its debut in theaters on Friday, December 6, pitting directly against Searchlight Pictures’ Amy Adams-led movie Nightbitch, and A24’s disaster comedy Y2K. The film will also debut in the same month as high-profile movies like Kraven the Hunter, Sonic the Hedgehog, Mufasa, Nosferatu, and A Complete Unknown.
Get Away is directed by Steffen Haars from a screenplay written by Shaun of the Dead’s Nick Frost. The film stars Frost as Richard, Aisling Bea as Susan, Sebastian Croft as Sam, Maisie Ayres as Jessie, Eero Milonoff as Matts, Ville Virtanen as Det. Forsberg, Anitta Suikkari as Klara, Jouko Ahola as Sven, and more. It is executive produced by Vince Totino, Nate Bolotin, Pip Ngo, Patrick Fischer, Jennifer Eriksson, Simon Lewis, Julia Stuart, and Laura Grange. Producers are Frost, Lee Kim, John Hegeman,Aram Tertzakian, Nick Spicer, and Maxime Cottray.
