Prime Video has released the House of Spoils trailer for Amazon MGM Studios and Blumhouse‘s newest horror thriller movie, starring Oscar winner Ariana DeBose (West Side Story) as a chef whose first restaurant is haunted by its former owner.

When is the House of Spoils release date?
House of Spoils will be available for streaming starting on October 3 exclusively on Prime Video. The film is written and directed by Bridget Savage Cole and Danielle Krudy, with food stylist Zoe Hegedus (Midsommar, Poor Things) serving as a consultant. Joining DeBose are Barbie Ferreira (Euphoria), Arian Moayed (Succession), Amara Karan (Hope Street), Mikkel Bratt Silset (Headhunters), Marton Csokas (Lord of the Rings), Imola Gáspár (Dune: Part Two), and more.
“The film follows an ambitious chef (DeBose) as she opens a restaurant on a remote estate where she battles kitchen chaos, crushing self-doubts… and a haunting presence who threatens to sabotage her at every turn,” reads the synopsis.
Producers are Greg Gilreath, Adam Hendricks, Drew Houpt, Alex Scharfman, Lucas Joaquin, and Jason Blum. It is executive produced by Cole, Krudy, Chris McCumber, Jeremy Gold, and Chris Dickie. This marks Amazon MGM Studios and Blumhouse’s latest collaboration after five years since first starting their partnership in 2019.
