Neon has released a new Mother’s Instinct trailer, previewing the upcoming psychological thriller starring Anne Hathaway and Jessica Chastain.
What happens in the Mother’s Instinct trailer?
The Mother’s Instinct trailer details the relationship between Anne Hathaway’s Céline and Jessica Chastain’s Alice. The trailer details the loss of Céline’s child, sparking a relationship between Céline and Alice’s son that Alice is wary of.
The film had its release overseas earlier this year and is now set to make its U.S. release later this month.

“Housewives Alice and Celine are best friends and neighbors who seem to have it all,” reads the film’s official synopsis. “However, when a tragic accident shatters the harmony of their lives, guilt, suspicion and paranoia begin to unravel their sisterly bond.”
Mother’s Instinct stars Hathaway, Chastain, Kelly Carmichael, Paul Nelson, and Jacques-Henri Bronckart. The movie is directed by Benoît Delhomme, from a screenplay written by Sarah Conradt based on both a the novel Derrière la haine by Barbara Abel, as well as serving as a remake of the 2018 French-language film of the same name.
Mother’s Instinct is set to release on July 26, 2024, and will also release digitally a few weeks later, on August 13, 2024.
