ComingSoon is debuting an exclusive 60 Miles North trailer, an upcoming drama film based on the true story of Edward Crawford, the man originally chosen to be the host of the hit game show Cash Cab.
What happens in the 60 Miles North trailer?
Written and directed by Crawford, the film is based on the true story of the actor who was picked to be the host of Cash Cab in 2005. However, following a background check that turned up a drunk driving arrest in 1993, Crawford was passed on for the job.
Alongside Crawford, 60 Miles North stars Audrey Kovar, Jack Mulcahy, Danny Dohert, Marsha Dietlein, and Jane Dashow. The film was also co-directed by Jack Mulcahy, who is best known for his role in the 1981 film Porky’s, as well as various appearances in Law & Order, NYPD Blue, Creating Rem Lezar, and more.
60 Miles North is set to release on July 9, 2024, on platforms everywhere following a premiere at the Woodstock Film Festival.

“After losing the role of a lifetime, an aspiring actor retreats to his hometown,” reads the official synopsis of the film. “Faced with either continuing to pursue stardom or accepting a job in his family’s trade, he embarks on a soul-searching journey. When he encounters a woman battling Lyme disease, who happens to be renting his childhood bedroom, an unexpected friendship develops, forcing them both to make life-altering decisions.”
