Max has shared the official Am I Ok? trailer for its newest comedy-drama, starring Madame Web’s Dakota Johnson and House of the Dragon’s Sonoya Mizuno.
The video features Johnson as a socially awkward woman who discovers her attraction to women after failing to find connection with the guys she date. Helping her figure out her love life is her supportive best friend, played by Mizuno. Following its world premiere at the 2022 Sundance Film Festival, the film will finally start streaming on June 6.

What to expect from Am I Ok?
“In the film, Lucy and Jane have been best friends for most of their lives and think they know everything there is to know about each other. But when Jane announces she’s moving to London, Lucy reveals a long-held secret. As Jane tries to help Lucy, their friendship is thrown into chaos,” reads the synopsis.
Am I Ok is directed and produced by Tig Notaro and Stephanie Allynne from a screenplay written by Lauren Pomerantz. The film also stars Jermaine Fowler, Kiersey Clemons, Molly Gordon, with Sean Hayes and Notaro. It is produced by Johnson, Pomerantz, Jessica Elbaum, Will Ferrell, Erik Feig, Lucy Kitada, and Ro Donnelly. Executive producers are Alex Brown, Shayne Fiske Goldner, and Royce Reeves Darby.
