ComingSoon is debuting an exclusive The American Society of Magical Negroes clip from the home media release of the Justice Smith-led comedy. The film is now in theaters and will be available to purchase through video-on-demand platforms on Tuesday, April 2.
“The American Society of Magical Negroes is a fresh, satirical comedy about a young man, Aren, who is recruited into a secret society of magical Black people who dedicate their lives to a cause of utmost importance: making white people’s lives easier,” reads the movie‘s synopsis.

The American Society of Magical Negroes was written and directed by Kobi Libii and stars Justice Smith, David Alan Grier, An-Li Bogan, Drew Tarver, Michaela Watkins, Aisha Hinds, and Tim Baltz, with Rupert Friend and Nicole Byer. The film was produced by Julia Lebedev p.g.a., Eddie Vaisman p.g.a., Angel Lopez p.g.a., and Kobi Libii, with Mike Upton, Oren Moverman, and Leonid Lebedev executive producing.
