With the Super Bowl just a few days away, Paramount Pictures has released one of their TV spots for the big game, previewing the upcoming A Quiet Place: Day One.
The new clip from the movie shows off footage mostly previously revealed in the prequel’s trailer. In it, Lupita Nyong’o and Joseph Quinn are seen trying to hide from the mysterious monsters that land on Earth.

A Quiet Place: Day One serves as a prequel/spin-off to A Quiet Place, the post-apocalyptic horror film series co-created by John Krasinski. Michael Sarnoski is writing and directing Day One based on a story treatment by Krasinski, the latter of whom is also attached as a producer.
In addition to the upcoming prequel/spin-off, Krasinski is developing a third main-series film in the A Quiet Place saga. A video game based on (and sharing continuity with) the film series is also in the works.
Who directed the original A Quiet Place?
Directed and co-written by Krasinski, A Quiet Place opened in theaters in April 2018. The film — which also co-stars Krasinski — centers on a family struggling to survive following the invasion of a sightless alien race that hunts by sound. Krasinski returned to write and direct a sequel, A Quiet Place Part II, which opened in March 2020.
