Amazon MGM Studios has released the official Upgraded trailer for Prime Video’s newest romantic comedy starring Riverdale vet Camila Mendes.
The video introduces Mendes as an art intern who pretended to be an art director for one of New York City’s prestigious galleries. The film is scheduled to start streaming on February 9, 2024.

What is Upgraded about?
The film follows Ana (Mendes), an ambitious intern dreaming of a career in the art world while trying to impress her demanding boss Claire,” reads the synopsis. “When she’s upgraded to first class on a work trip, she meets handsome Will, who mistakes Ana for her boss — a white lie that sets off a glamorous chain of events, romance and opportunity, until her fib threatens to surface.”
Upgraded is directed by Carlson Young from a screenplay written by Christine Lenig, Justin Matthews, and Luke Spencer Roberts. The film also stars Archie Renaux, Thomas Kretschmann, Gregory Montel, Aimee Carrero, Andrew Schulz, Rachel Matthews, with Lena Olin, Marisa Tomei, Fola Evans-Akingbola, Anthony Head, and Saoirse-Monica Jackson. It is executive produced by Mendez, Josie Rosen, Tom Salentine, Rachel Matthews, Karl Hall and Matt Williams, with Mike Karz, William Bindley, Lena Roklin, Piers Tempest and Lauren Cox serving as producers.
