ComingSoon is debuting an exclusive The Rainbow Bridge trailer for the sci-fi comedy short film from writer and director Dimitri Simakis. The film is set to premiere at Sundance Film Festival on January 22 at 10 p.m. MST at the Ray in Park City. Additional screenings are as follows:
- January 26 at 9 p.m. MST in Gateway 6 in SLC
- January 27 at 4:30 p.m. MST at the Holiday 1 in Park City
“Tina and her elderly dog visit a mysterious clinic offering human-to-pet communication,” reads the short film’s synopsis. “Two sinister doctors uncover an otherworldly bond between them that transcends time and space. They might be the key to something greater … but at what cost?”

The Rainbow Bridge was written, directed, edited, and composed by Dimitri Simakis and produced by Suki-Rose and Michael Scott. Seannie Bryan did the cinematography, while the production design was by Courtney Andujar and Hillary Andujar.
