A24 has dropped the official Love Lies Bleeding trailer for its forthcoming crime drama thriller starring Oscar nominee Kristen Stewart and The Mandalorian’s Katy O’Brian.
The video highlights the blossoming romance between Stewart’s Lou and O’Brian’s Jackie. The latter is an aspiring bodybuilder who gets suddenly involved in Lou’s crime family. The film will have its world premiere at the upcoming 2024 Sundance Film Festival followed by a theatrical release on March 8, 2024.

What is Love Lies Bleeding about?
Described as an electric new love story, “the film centers around a reclusive gym manager Lou who falls hard for Jackie, an ambitious bodybuilder headed through town to Vegas in pursuit of her dream,” reads the synopsis. “But their love ignites violence, pulling them deep into the web of Lou’s criminal family.”
Love Lies Bleeding is directed by Rose Glass from a screenplay she co-wrote with Weronika Tofilska. This marks Glass’ second collaboration with A24 following her feature-length directorial debut Saint Maud in 2019. Joining Stewart and O’Brian are Jena Malone, Anna Baryshnikov with Dave Franco and Ed Harris. It is executive produced by Daniel Battsek, David Kimbangi, Susan Kirr, and Ollie Madden, with Andrea Cornwell and Oliver Kassman producing.
